A small family-run transport firm based at Heathrow has shared a set of photographs from one of its regular runs down to the Greek capital.
H.E.T. Ltd, which operates from the London airport, sent in images of two of its vehicles on a trip from LHR to Athens. The pictures were taken along the route, most of them during a tachograph break in Italy.
The company describes itself as a small, family-run transport operation. Runs of this length are a familiar part of the work for operators serving the Greek market, with the journey taking in some of Europe’s main north–south corridors before the crossing into Greece.
For smaller fleets, long-distance international work of this kind offers a chance to show off well-kept equipment on routes that many drivers know well. The two trucks photographed on this occasion were captured mid-journey, parked up during a mandatory rest period before continuing south.
