A familiar Italian-registered MAN has been turning up in Dover again, photographed by Neil Jarrold a few weeks ago. The truck belongs to a driver from Italy who has become a regular subject for British truck spotters over the past four years or so.
The vehicle is a compact MAN with distinctive corrugated metal side panels, giving it a classic old-school Italian appearance. It is understood the driver brings furniture into the UK and tips somewhere in South London, possibly around Croydon, though this has not been confirmed.
Anyone who recognises the driver, the company, or has information about the truck’s regular routes is invited to get in touch. The hope is that the driver can be identified and made aware that he has acquired a following among British enthusiasts during his visits.
The truck has been documented repeatedly at Dover over the years, and this latest sighting adds to a growing collection of photographs. If you know the driver or the firm, or can confirm where the deliveries are made, please share what you know.
